#1340 was meant for YOU, JC!
My little sheltie....awwww!
Meg went to store to get chocolate! LOL!
It was really fun, yorkie! I’ve been looking at my email!
Tomorrow I will have to get busy for sure!
Goodnight, dear friend.
I did the same thing when I sent Meg the Russell Stover Chocolate Marshmallow egg. Sent it to me.
Thank you Meg! Got on late today, as I had CHORES, but tried to catch-up once I did get on. What fun!
Well, I didn’t get the taxes done today, but I DID get the refrigerator cleaned - it is sparkling, now!
AND, I cleaned all the little buds that fell off my evergreen tree at the entry way - and all the needles, and pine cones that have accumulated over the winter. I had to use a BIG broom, and a blower - and bagged it all up for the trash collection tomorrow. THEN, I hosed it all down. It looks ‘presentable’, now!
Everybody made this such a fun place today!
I will drift off into dreamland, thinking of chocolate keyboards. :-)
Hi Yorkie! Wish I’d got done what you did!
Oak leaves falling like mad here and Piper drags them inside. Next will come the yellow fuzz that gets in his fur.
Chocolate dreams, lol.
I now have CHOCOLATE!!!
That chocolate keyboard would’ve driven me to the store if I had not already made a store run.
Chocolate is a necessity of life. ..a major food group.
Six retired Irishmen were playing poker
in O'Leary's apartment
when Paddy Murphy loses $500 on a single hand,
clutches his chest, and drops dead at the table.
Showing respect for their fallen brother,
the other five continue playing standing up.
Michael O'Conner looks around and asks,
"Oh, me boys, someone has to tell Paddy's wife.
Who will it be?"
They draw straws. Paul Gallagher picks the short one.
They tell him to be discreet, be gentle,
don't make a bad situation any worse.
"Discreet??? I'm the most discreet Irishman you'll ever meet.
Discretion is me middle name. Leave it to me."
Gallagher goes over to Murphy's house
and knocks on the door.
Mrs. Murphy answers, and asks what he wants.
Gallagher declares, "Your husband just lost $500,
and is afraid to come home."
"Tell him to drop dead!" says Murphy's wife.
"I'll go tell him," says Gallagher.
Yep, I’ve been in the biz since birth. Grampa started his greenhouse in 1933, my Dad started his around 1970 and I started mine in 1994. I literally lived above Grampa’s garden center as an infant. Sometimes I want to retire when I’m 50, having put in a good 40 years of labor by then. However the closer I get to 50 (I’m 47 now) the less likely it seems I will retire. I am trying to cut back on my quantities to lighten the work load so I can continue. I work alone, and it’s all hand work. I do have the luxury of being off from Oct 1, to Feb 1, when I have nothing growing. That is nice of course. Problem is the rest of the year there are no days off, since I deal with living things. As soon as the spring things are sold, I already have mums growing for summer and fall. The bad economy has spared me and my family, in this time and previous bad times, as people love their flowers no matter what. I’m very thankful for that and that my health is good so I can still work hard.
Good Night Friends, sleep tight.
Piper would LOVE for you to scroll through the day, and look at the graphics. (Especially of the yorkies!)
Good to see ya here today, Gurl Fren!
I have many more leaves on my driveway than in early winter..all live oak.
[Good to see ya here today, Gurl Fren!]
You too!
Tomorrow I’ll have to come back and look through. I can find more things to do on the computer, plus making gifs, lol. I spend hours.
Hi Meg! My Live Oaks may be close to a hundred years old, very large. I get falling leaves both in the fall and in spring. I hate the yellow fuzz from the Oak bloom worst of all. It’s messy.
Well..you did a LOT today!!
I fed the cats, put the trash can out for in the morning, and bought chocolate..LOL
Sweet chocolate dreams.
Precious!!
Potlatch, I just put a new tag-line on.......just for you! LOL!
I know they are beautiful...but messy indeed this time of year.
Yorkie; [So many links - so little time]
How true, lol! If Google would only pay me for using them!
Meg, the Oak trees are indeed beautiful, cover the whole yard.
Night Ladies, enjoyed ‘seeing’ both of you.
I love old oaks.
Good to “see” you, too!
Sweet Dreams.
