Oh! How Purty, Meg!
We have sunshine, and breezes, here on California's central coast.

Those are beautiful dogwoods! I have been losing lower limbs every year since I moved here 16 years ago..but it still hangs in there.

My dogwood blooms do not have much of a scent, good or bad. I will pay particular attention this season. If all goes as last year, they will be in bloom in a month. Guess it has a lot to do with the weather and sun, etc. Meg’s may bloom sooner with warmer weather. One thing about them blooming, it doesn’t last long.

Thank you Meg, I think my dogwoods may be 30 years old. Do you guess thats why the trunk and the limbs look scaley and diseased? Maybe they just live so long. As long as they keep blooming, I will not worry about them.
My mom had a gorgeous pink one. Anything she grew was prettier than anyone else’s. She was a true green-thumbed lady. My hubby used to tease me if a flower died, etc. he would lovingly tell me I had a brown thumb!

What a pitiful little animal....only a mother could love.

That is my problem too. I’m down to the stuffy, drippy nose. Have to get more Benedryl tomorrow, I’ve got 3 doses left.
I think this is done by one of the Celtic Women

Sweet!
If my kitties make a great escape to the outside
they could see the blossoms. My kitties love to sniff a bouquet when
I have one.

Its hard to say! The most unique is the shoe and underwear...LOL! And many I probably don’t know about. Now, we have the women entering the picture! Jihad Jane! And that other woman, Jamie. They arrested Jamie and turned her loose.
Guess she needs more time to get everything ready.

I’ve been told my tree was a gift from a neighbor who brought several from Arkansas. It isn’t native here..and must be at least 25 years old. Mine, they say, is the only survivor. White dogwoods are native.
Some people just have a talent for making things grow.
