You’re right!! The last game, I had a bag of Cheetoes and a bag of cornnuts. No soda because you cannot sell unhealthy food during school or during the afterschool program. Don’t you love government interference?
My rant ... We live in the country and Marissa goes to a very poor school district. It was pretty good 35 years ago when Jr was there.
There are so many farm laborers in the area. So many of these people wait for you to hand them everything for free.
There are only 3 parents and a couple of teachers that are working to raise money for field trips.
California is bankrupt and the schools have to cut their budgets. Next year will be worse than this year. I wouldn’t work so hard but I think it is important for Marissa. She is looking forward to seeing a California Mission. We are going to try making a trip to Sacramento sometime soon.
I have my car packed for tomorrow .... I have to leave here at 7:30 tomorrow morning.
