I think you’re right. Doesn’t look like Bond at all, but his acting convinced me; very like the cruel, tough, cold Bond of the books.

Thanks for the comparison, potlatch.

Worthington is no Connery, but he has the potential to be made to look more like him than the others. Now, if he can portray Bond anywhere close to as well as Connery, we may be in business.

At least, he isn’t Brosnan or Craig! I couldn’t bear watching either of them as Bond.

I always liked Lazenby too. We are in the minority on that, however.

There have already been 24 James Bond movies and 1 TV drama. The holders of the movie rights to most of the bond films don’t get t0 leave out the movies produced by others.

She is now directing and is reportedly drug free. Was nominated for awards for her role in an HBO movie last year.

I want my Bond to look in the “George Lazenby mode”. That’s why I prefer Jude Law as James Bond.

It seems to me that Craig is not really interested in the role.

Agree with you Craig saved the franchise.
While i have not seen any of Mendes movies,he will be controlled by Wilson and Broccoli who are into making a movie that makes lot’s of money.
Last movie the bad guy is a enviro whacko reminded me of Al Gore, they are not in to making artistic or idealistic movies they are into making money..

“Taken” a European movie features scenes of bad guys being tortured, beaten or killed for info on the heroes daughter, made close to $500 million at the box office.
“Milk” about a gay guy in SF made maybe $40 million, but won a oscar..

I think Cubby’s kids are doing a excellent job..

BTW,trivia Cubby’s stepson Michael.C.Wilson also producer has been making cameo appearances in Bond movies for the last six movies....
