Most interesting article. I never knew that Black Americans contributed 13 percent of US troops in WW I.

Why are we not taught this stuff in school?
I can see a medal for bravery for joining the British but going to Canada seems kind of ordinary.
I guess it depends on what your definition of "success" is.
