A possible explanation for Brett Farve's inexplicable, 4th quarter interception in the NFC Championship Game, which aborted a game winning Vikings drive ... from Rick Cleveland's blog ...
For all those who have criticized Favre for throwing instead of running on that last play against the Saints, check out Brett's left ankle and his right hamstring.
Dang, son. That's UGLY.
Favre’s last pass for the Falcons was an INT.
Favre’s last pass for the Packers was an INT.
Favre’s last pass for the Jets was an INT.
No, bruises are not why Favre throws interceptions. Bad judgment is why Favre throws interceptions.
Now his skin matches his team colors.
For all the millions this guy makes, I’d take a bum ankle.
Who says this is valid info anyway? No sympathy from me if it is real.
>>That hurts just to look at <<
When the NFL makes it clear to the refs who they want to win, that is what you get. The refaints realized the refs were not calling roughing the passer calls and were cheap shotting the entire 4th quarter and into OT.
The fix is in. If the Colts don’t get and stay at least 14 points ahead, the refs will hand the SB to the refaints, just like they did the NFC championship.
Farve is one of the reasons I watch football....he is entertaining.
Let’s hope this superbowl is entertaining as well.
Brett Favre= Great QB on the field, when he’s not making horrendously stupid throws . Huge drama queen off the field.
Nasty... Favre’s a tough guy. Should have handed off the last play. Hope they check him for possible DVT blood clot formations.
Wasn’t his first pass as a Falcon an interception as well?
He had 4 passes as a Falcon, 2 interceptions and 2 incomplete passes.
Tough time while a bird.
Did well as a Packer. And sure helped the Vikings this year.
Good guy. If he retires, I wish him well.
Watched a long interview with Kurt Warner this afternoon.
He reminded me so much of Favre and what these experienced quarterbacks bring to the game and to their team.
Favre did not attend the Pro Bowl due to his ankle injury and I wish him nothing but a speedy recovery and a decision to give us one more year of great football.
There are rumors that he wants to go into the Hall of Fame as a Viking.
How do we know this is really Brett Favre’s leg and hammy?
Oh you poor baby. Wahhhhhhh Wahhhhhhh Wahhhhhhh
I am sick of people whining that the refs threw the game.
I "ALSO" saw a few roughing the passer "no calls" on the Saints QB and a few "no calls" for penalties committed by the Vikings on other plays too.
Face it. YOUR team lost. Farve made a bad play as he is known to do in clutch situations. All Farve had to do was run for what? three? five yards maybe? and you wouldn't even be commenting on this thread about the poor officiating.
The refs stunk all the way around. They were inconsistent with their calls for BOTH teams. Suck it up man
At least you aren't a Redskins fan like I am...
Who Dat!
His time as a Packer was marred by his own inability to make good decisions. Vikings fans found that out the hard way this year.
I suspect that if Favre pulls a Dan Marino and throws a football to a former receiver when being inducted into the HoF, it’ll be intercepted by a member of the crowd.
I thought you guys traded him to the Jets...?
Thats just mean. LOL
