Fake Locke-Flocke
ahh....... that makes sense! Thanks!!
That sounds like a good theory.
Superb recap there, though it’s a bit sad he is brought forward because of Vozzek’s house-fire.
Thanks... My thinking is if Jacob represents good (and I think he does), he brought all the people to the island to do something good, whatever that is, maybe they have to come there to keep the balance of good/evil (thus the symbol of the balance scale). Anyway, man in black wants to kill everyone who Jacob brings there there, get out of having to do his part to "keep the balance" so he can be free. The lists that Ben was told to kidnap, I'm not sure they weren't working for MIB, even though he thought he was working for Jacob (remember he never actually saw Jacob). If you think about it, it was actually the MIB posing as Flock who told real Locke to bring everyone back to the island. Was the kid Jacob? Then who was taking over Sayid's body in the temple? Maybe Jacob resurrected as a kid, and Sayid did too at the same time. Lot's of Biblical allegory in Lost, but other religions too. Okay, my brain hurts now!
Sorry, let me put in paragraphs now!!

Flocke = Fake Locke
I definitely agree with the first part since the Losties all seemed to have a need to redeem themselves or be healed (bad luck -Hugo). Jack - alcoholic, Kate and Sawyer - murder, Sayid - torturer, Jin - henchman, Locke- broken man, Charlie - junkie. It’s definitely getting interesting. Once we finally know what has been going on we’ll all want to rewatch the series from the beginning - can we say “boxed dvd set”?
Yes! Hubby and I just started watching LOST last fall - we watched seasons 1-5 on Netflix online.
I don’t know where we have been the last 5 years that we missed such a good series!
I didn’t start watching until season 3 so I got 1 and 2 from the library.
I more or less did the same thing. When I first tried it, the commercials interfered with the story line so much for me, that I simply gave up trying to follow it. It bears recalling the series introduced us to something north of 20 continuing characters within one or two episodes. Daring, and borne out by the sequel, but daunting at a time when I sampled and moved on very quickly in broadcast TV.
The season finale is about Hurley?
