Great episode for my birthday—a Locke episode! The only way it could have been a better birthday was to be a Sawyer episode, but he had plenty of face time tonight.

Why didn’t they have Kate’s name on the cave wall? She’s not a candidate? And the numbers...4 8 15 16 23 42

I want the “real” John Locke to come back. I can’t get upset about his death because I just don’t believe he is really dead. John Locke is the heart of the show and the writers have said that themselves.

We noticed the numbers too. Some thoughts - I think the real Locke will go through with seeing Jack and Jack will help him walk/heal. As Locke is befriended by Rose I think Sawyer will be befriended by Bernard the dentist (toothache??). Not much has been shown about these 2 except they were on the plane. They are highly symbolic with the black/white thing, I also rememember the 2 mummies with the black and white stones in their pockets I always thought it was the 2 of them. I think badLocke will want Sawyer to kill off all the rest of the survivors and when their “numbers” are eliminated he will tell Sawyer he will be free and Lock will be free. But Locke will want Sawyer dead too. And who is the blond boy in the jungle - a young Jacob?? Will he be brought back to life by way of his ashes?? Or will the ashes go into pills to save the rest of the survivors? Jacob touched all the survivors in their earlier lives. But the smoke monster if it was in Christian could not touch Locke down in the ice cave. Could the smoke monster have gone in Christian, then Claire and now Locke?? And what’s up with the boy in the jungle telling Locke it was against the rules. Using Sawyer?? Very interesting episode!!

My husband has said the same thing...he often gets LOST too.

I told him, reading the recaps and other peoples take on what each episode reveals, helps keep one from getting so Lost.

So, help me out here.... in the "alternate" universe where flight 815 landed normally, Benjamin Linus is a school teacher. Where exactly was Ben (trying to remember) at the time the bomb went off in 1977?

I believe he was with The Others where he was being healed of the bullet Sayeed put in him.

So how did Ben get off the Island before it was blown to hell?
