NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden has put out 10 pages of remarks over President Barack Obama’s budget request for his agency — and he’s predictably enthusiastic.
He’s full of praise for the possibilities of research into new gee-whiz technologies that could get people to Mars in “weeks instead of years,” new Earth Science satellites and making full use of the International Space Station as a place to do cutting-edge research in space.

Obummer tends to pick shills, not free thinkers.
I’m all for seeing research into faster propulsion systems but that sounds like a wonderful job for guys like Richard Branson.
They are still saying 7,000 layoffs and no human space flight for the next 5 years regardless the color lipstick this autocrat paints on the pig.
May puke overflow his future endeavors!

Its really up to Congress. If they follow the President, Bolden needs to resign in protest if he has an ounce of honor or dignity.
I want the next trip to the moon to be a private venture.
We already proved we could spend our tax dollars to go to the moon. What kind of goal is “go back to the moon?”

Well I wasn’t aware of the racial connection. Bringing race into this blatantly stupid statement detracts from the more central issues, I think.
You’d think an astronaut’s boss wouldn’t be pussywhipped by a commie.
But I guess that isn’t the case.
And how many billions are now allocated to “Global Warming” in the Space Exploration fund that used to be NASA.
I have been looking EVERYWHERE on the internet for those episodes. Loved that show as a kid. It was very influential to a future engineer and rocket scientist. But alas, Salvage-1 is nowhere to be found.
