Hi all,

Sorry I was gone so long, missed some great stuff I see.
I’ve been laid up with an old back injury that was aggravated somehow and just moving was a test in pain endurance. Bed rest and patience is about all that has any effect on it. Now that I’m back on my feet (literally), breakfast is on me tomorrow, so wake up with a hunger for solid food and witty chatter over a fresh cuppa.

Johnn, if we’da known, we could have fixed you some of that ‘back healing soup’ - contents unknown/secret.

I’ll put my order in now, for breakfast, if you don’t mind:

Soft boiled egg with crushed soda crackers, a pat of butter, and salt and pepper (don’t laugh - it’s really good)

Two slices of bacon - limp, if you don’t mind.

Chopped, assorted seasonal fruits, with peach yogurt and sliced almonds

A cup of strong coffee, with Hazlenut Coffee-Mate and a teaspoon of Hazlenut (sugar free) syrup.

And for breakfast dessert - a Krispy Kreme glazed donut (or two)

P.S. So glad you are feeling better. Back pain is so debilitating!

We shall now put this on the menu as the Yorkie Breakfast Special as a regular just for you.

P.S. So glad you are feeling better. Back pain is so debilitating!

I had a barrel of oil dropped on me in 1981 and it left me 30% disabled, (though that is not recognized here in Minnesota! go figure?) When this flares up, I’m nearly incapacitated and in serious pain. Between the back and the degrading condition in my knees, I can no longer ride two wheelers and I miss that. If I ever find another job, may be I can build another trike and ride again, I miss the open road!

Well, from Yorkie’s special, I would love to have 2 of those wonderful donuts! I had 2 hard boiled eggs already and who knows, I may lose some weight so I choose donuts....I sure don’t want any limp bacon....LOL!

I adore those little smiley's, GeeBee! Hope you are doing okay and that this weather will clear up soon. Cabin fever will set in soon as I have things to do and places to go.
