I bookmarked it and checked it out. I will check in on it more tomorrow. Do they leave those lights on all the time? Maybe those Eagles would like some darkness....I sure hope they don’t freeze under all that snow. Its kinda sad losing those eggs.

Between The Tick And Tock
The grey shadows sit upon the Moor
and kites haunt the sky as they soar
Overhead they flit in silent flights
as is and has been their ancient right
The wind dances on the long grass tops
so endless is it, for it never seems to stop
Winding patterns like waves in the grass
here for a moment, and then on to pass
Stars, they glisten upon the waters of the fen
chasing moonbeams among the reeds again
In time to the song celestial, sung by the breeze
and time moves on, another moment to seize
Far off, a bird calls, oh so piercingly clear
and the sound slides, across a mind’s mirror
Echoes of echoes, bent around in time they go
and only points in history mark their subtle flow
Where ancient is new, and old a term unsure
meanings are fluid, and then things will blur
A picture painted of a moment grows indistinct
and we find now we speak oh most succinct
An age is but a moment of some unknown length
in which we are measure by wit and by strength
Moment to moment the pattern is just the same
and only fate can be held as holding all the blame
Magic Wand
I wish I had a magic wand
To make it go away;
I'd wave my scepter over you
Until you were okay.
I'd think good thoughts; I'd send you love;
I'd transmit healing vibes;
My wand and I would surely beat
Whatever the doc prescribes.
But there is no magic scepter, so
I cannot cast a spell;
Just know you're often in my thoughts,

Polly, I’ve been watching the eagle web-cam - and she hasn’t moved an inch - for a LONG time. The snow is coming down hard. It is 25 degrees at the nest - and she is being covered with a blanket of snow. But, this is not a ‘warm’ blanket - and I hope they both are able to weather this storm.

Bless her heart! I just checked when I read this, and she is dilligently sitting. It looks like she shed the snow and got back on the egg. Definitely NOT a warm blankie. The question is will the egg stay warm enough to keep alive. Mom has endured many snow seasons.
Time to call it a day here.
Tomorrow will be a fresh new day!

This is so sweet! I cut off early last night so it was very nice to see this today...thank you! It is snowing this fine stuff and the ground may have 2 inches but I don’t think it will last long but the temps are very bitter with high winds.
My flag is staying at a steady sideways flight!
GOSH, I JUST LOOKED OUT AND ITS HEAVY HUGE FLAKES NOW...ITS AMAZING.
