I don’t think it’s just you.
To: Minn
Servers no workee - that’s a technical term.
To: Minn
Tough is a rather mild characterization.

Yes, I believe.
I’m in Des Moines, Iowa, on Qwest DSL and FR has been very slow or unavailable to me off and on recently.

Northern California has had super high wind and rain over the past 2 weeks. I think conditions in central California —where Jim Thomson lives— have been equally series.

It’s hugh. Series even. Worse than when the moose bit my sister - but, if you go take a shower and come back after a while, all will be well, but only if you’re logged on.
To: Minn
It works fine for me. Except when the server is down, of course.

They keep messing with their tables and thus we get 502’s.
Very annoying and I know of no other site that has as many problems as FR.

Wasn't you - might NOT have been the FR server... as this traceroute shows:
129.250.24.195 19ms 21ms 20ms TTL: 0 (mg-1.a01.mlpsca01.us.da.verio.net ok) 128.242.105.82 20ms 22ms 21ms TTL: 0 (No rDNS) 209.157.64.200 23ms 22ms 24ms TTL: 52 (No rDNS)
gets to line one above, but not 2, line 3 is the FR server..

It’s not just you...I’ve had fits trying to even get here.
FIREFOX keeps telling me to “reset the connection.”
IE just now told me that I “cannot connect to this page.”
I had thought I was having problems with FF, but evidently not.

Yeah, well, it does give you time to have a look see at what the DOJBlogsquad & the 0b0t crowd does with your screenname on other sites. I am amazed.

I don’t know where you heard the rumor that half of FR’s servers are purposely brought off line during Freepathons to drum up donations. That is totally untrue.
