NASA tops off new Ares launch tower at the Cape

Workers added the final piece of a 390-foot-tall Ares 1 mobile launch tower at Kennedy Space Center on Thursday, topping off a new member of the Cape Canaveral skyline as questions swirl on whether the eye-catching structure will ever be used.

In 3 years, all the high speed rail money will have been spent on the environmental impact study and the first laying of track will still be 10 years in the future.

We’ll be on Mars before there is a viable high speed rail in Florida. Of course by “we will be on Mars” I mean the Chinese will be on Mars.
