Hes top notch, but the Colts have a crappy running game. That doesent help him set up. The Ravens just have to stay tight on the receivers and something may bounce their way. IMO
Well, next to their passing game the Colts running game isn’t so good but Joseph Adai, when healthy, has been very good. I don’t even know if he’s healthy now.
Yep I expect to see some interceptions by both teams.
Collin Cowherd was on the radio the other day making the argument that all of the Colts’ success over the last decade has come almost purely from the greatness of Peyton Manning. They certainly weren’t winning games with their defense, and pretty much anyone else who was “good” on their offense was simply made to look good by Manning.
I found it pretty convincing. He’s rarely had anyone around him who was a star (either in college or in the NFL) before he came to the Colts, and just look at what became of Colts “stars” after they leave. Edgerrin James immediately became a 2 yard-per-carry back with the Cardinals, and Marvin Harrison, often touted as one of the best receivers of his generation, wasn’t even picked up after the Colts released him.
Does anyone really think Pierre Garcon or Dallas Clark would be anything with another quarterback? I’m not even sure Reggie Wayne would cut it as a #1 receiver on most teams.
Mannings QB rating for this year’s regular season: 109.6 (#2 is guess who — Favre at 107.2).
Flacco FWIIW, was around 88.
