I think we are all agreed that this is effectively the last season.
It depends on who they get to replace Simon. And I don't know if Ellen has a contract beyond this season (dropping her would help a lot).
The show *could* survive without Simon, but if they replace him with someone disgusting I want even watch or host the thread.
