This “interview” with Usher is as contrived as the “banter” between Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards when covering the Rose Parade.
Ellen was clearly trying to be the male in that kiss too..(I think I just threw up a bit, even typing that)
The introduction of the judges, the singers and of Usher eats up 8 minutes. Especially Usher--Seacrest sits down with him in the audience and they shoot the breeze about his new album.

Interesting you should mention that. I was killing some time today and decided to look on iTunes to search for covers of George Harrison songs. Noticed Nina Simone covered quite a few of his songs including Here Comes the Sun.
