Shobubu—LMAO!
ROFL!!
Maybe one of them can save Katie.
(Pagie is dooooooooooomed.)
OMG! That is a riot—More fun than a shower with Ron Emmanuel!
Great way to start the thred.
Tonight I loved Crystal and Lilly.
Kate, Didi, and Siobhan were good, but in the middle.
Paige, Lacey, and Kaitlyn sucked lemons.
Me too! I don't know what Simon was listening to.
Wow, what a total dichotomy tonight. 2 Fantastic performance, 2 great performances, 2 ok performances, and 2 total suckage train wrecks. Again, I had a tie at the top, and again it was the same two girls.
1A Crystal Bowersox - Give me One Reason - Absolute mastery of her craft. Brilliant performance, and exactly what she will produce on her album.
1B Siobhan Magnus - House of The Rising Sun - I have no idea what the judges were smoking tonight, because this performance was absolutely SMOKIN! This was fantastic from note one. Absolute brilliance.
3. Didi Benami - Rihanna - Didi is back in the game. What a beautiful voice, perfect song choice for her voice. Maybe a bit slow, but otherwise perfect.
4. Lilly Scott - I Fall To Pieces - Long live the quirkiness! Loved it. I love Patsy Cline, and Lilly made Patsy cool again.
5. Katie Stevens - Breakaway - Very Well Done, but lacking the raw emotion and power that Kelly gave this song. Katie sounded great, but she lacks the oomph to sing this level of song.
6. Katelynn Epperly - I Feel The Earth Move - I like Katelyn as a person, and she really does have a fine voice, but this was just a bit to Karaoke and felt like she just mailed the performance.
7. Paige Miles - Smile - Not much to smile about here to be honest. Katelyn needs to thank Paige and Lacey for bringing suckage to a whole new level.
8. Lacey Brown - The Story - Paige was bad, but nothing compared to the total utter complete bottom of the barrel suckage of this painful screeching off tune disaster of a performance. Total utter complete train wreck.
Who should go home - LACEY, LACEY, LACEY, LACEY, LACEY!!!! Oh and that off key idiot that stole Paige’s body tonight.
Who will go home - Paige for sure, Probably Lacey, but Katelyn needs to sweat and Katie is not out of the woods.
Normally I find Simon to be right on the money. But in the case of Siobhan, he couldn’t have been more wrong. Wonder why he feels the need to slam her in this fashion?
It's my pleasure :)
Would you like me to add you to the update's mini-ping list?
True...Lacey had that Constantine thing going on.
Hope she goes home this week.
LOL! I don't get why they're so snuggly this year. Maybe Kara feels insecure and sits uncomfortably close to Simon for reassurance.
Kara is doing her damndest to be Paula Lite.....and doing PAINFULLY, what Paula used to do effortlessly (well—effortlessly with a few recreational pharmaceuticals on board)
I didn't like her song at first, but she's growing on me.
Exactly! LMAO!!
Agree with all your comments. Randy and Simon are at that age when the hearing starts to go (esp. if you’re in the music business)...they both need hearing aids.
Siobhan was marvelous with that particular song. But not as good as Crystal who has natural talent and doesn’t have to push anything.
I just love Lilly and it’s not fair for them to compare her to Patsy Kline. Lilly is Lilly...another natural, not trying to jump thru hoops for two deaf middleaged men!
Lacey was caterwauling like she was sitting on a hot stove. Please please let her go home so I don’t have to have those “fingernails on chalk” moments anymore.
Thats' right.
My word what an incredibly beautiful girl, but she should have listened to “Tapestry” for a clue.
Lilly had fun. But even that didn't impress sourpuss Simon. "Could be risky."
Very good indeed. I'm old enough to remember Janis Joplin. I don't believe in reincarnation, but...
Crystal and Siobhan are my prediction for the finals.
