Retro! I have found a new author, well he’s new to me. If you like suspense I think you would like him. His name is Harlan Coben and the 2 books of his I read were “Tell No One’ and “Gone for Good.” Real page turners, hard to put down. But left you a little creeped out at times. :)

I don’t wanna spend time watching the show anymore. Not sure I can anymore. I’ll try. But it never used to be a chore, til last season.
To: silent_jonny
You;Simon & the good good singers that’s why I’ll try.

Watch Herman dancing while listening to any of the songs Jonny uploaded. It's hysterical.LOLOL!
I was going to use this song somewhere else on the thread, but it seems perfect for Herman :)

Our sources would not say how far along the discussions have gone between Simon and Paula ... but there were talks as recently as late last week.Hm.

Simon Cowell is leaving after this season. I can’t think of anyone who could take his place.

I like her alot also. I like her low-key humor. She doesn’t seem to have a big desire to rub everyone’s nose in her sexuality - unlike Rosie O’Donnell.

I’m beginning to think the departure of Paula was planned so she could go with Simon next season. The ratings would be HUGE for the new show.

AI definitely needs someone who’s not afraid to dish out criticism when needed (like Gordon Ramsay minus the F-bombs)! I can’t see Ellen D. or any of the other judges filling that role in Simon’s absence. I can’t imagine anyone replacing Paula’s overmedicated brand of oddness either, which makes me all the more curious about what to expect for Season 9. Here’s hoping they can make it work!

Yo yo yo yourself, Oh Silent One! Great to see your pixels again! Thanks for giving us a heads-up ahead of time. My husband will roll his eyes (again, as always!) when I take control of the TV tomorrow night, but oh, well .... :)
Actually my plan is to tune in just for the first show (I was annoyed when they dropped Paula but I admit to curiousity about Ellen) and then probably skip the show until Hollywood week begins. Our two-year-olds take up a lot of time these days!!!!
See ya online! :)

But the live show is too fast paced for me typing wise so my comments will be delayed. My comments are super-delayed. I have to watch in West Coast time, and certainly not live at that! I don't enjoy commercials. But this thread is even fun to read after the fact!
I am kind of looking forward to Ellen, but DREADING Kara. I never liked her voice, her leaning into the mike, and her know-it-all-ness. UGH.

Howdy, Johnny!
Hey, I just noticed your name is spelled “Jonny,” not “Johnny”!
After all these years!
I wonder if purplerain/whatever he called himself last time will join us this year?
See ya’!

And Gnarls seemed like such a nice guy ;-) LMAO!! I love that he sort of has a dopey smile in that picture, too.

But left you a little creeped out at times. :)Ooooh, that does sound good. For some reason his name sounds really familiar. I wonder if maybe someone else recommended him to me, too. I have a credit over at audible.com, so I will check that out. I listen to audiobooks while I work. :-)
