Poor Ellen. She doesn’t know much about music beyond being a fan and she can’t come up with anything interesting or funny to say on LIVE TV. Whew....I thought it was just me. She's absolutely worthless. I thought that she'd be witty, funny, whatever. But wow...talk about adding nothing to the show.

Landslide brought Lacey Brown down... I forgot about her. That's not a good sign.

I thought they kept saying that this was a year of really strong female voices...so far I’m not seeing (hearing) that.There are a couple of strong girls, but the rest is hype. They haven't had a female winner since 2007 so they probably feel like they have to push for a girl this year.
But Bowersox could win this without any manipulation.

Illustrator known for his cute but eerie victorian-style drawings - kinda like Tim Burton, but with subtlety. Popular among goths/artsy kids, but not well known otherwise. Wouldn't have noticed except I'm a fan of his. :)
