It depends on who they get to replace Simon. And I don't know if Ellen has a contract beyond this season (dropping her would help a lot). The show *could* survive without Simon, but if they replace him with someone disgusting I want even watch or host the thread.
Good point -- let's withhold judgment. Who do you think might make a good judge? Fred Willard maybe? Robin Williams (hos shtick is a bit old, though)? Phil Spector broadcasting from his prison cell?

oh man..ellen’s face during that exchange from the side was not happy lookingWhat was up with that? Kara repeated Ellen's joke about "mariachi" from a couple weeks ago and looked over to get a giggle out Ellen.
