Those who claim to see beyond the veil of space and time are predicting more bad news for 2010.
A Toronto psychic known as Nikki has already made headlines and raised eyebrows with her prediction of the possible assassination - or attempted assassination - of President Obama in 2010. Nikki claims to have successfully predicted the death of Michael Jackson and the September 11 attacks. Other predictions from Nikki for 2010: Sarah Palin will pose nude and giant bats will attack a South American city.
Psychic heavyweight Sylvia Browne also predicts a presidential assassination involving a complicated scenario designed to "damage the American people’s faith in their government" as if such a thing was possible. She hedges her bets by noting that it may not happen this year. Sometime between now and 2020, she says. This prediction should be safely forgotten by the end of the decade.
The “channeler, spiritual teacher and spiritual healer” Oneesha of Las Cruces, NM, sees war between Israel and Iran and an attack “from within” on the United States. St. Paul's Fatima takes a safe bet and predicts "more wars." She's probably right on that one.
Even Indian fortune tellers are predicting a rough row to hoe in the upcoming year though there may be some improvement in the second six months.
Not all the psychics are doom and gloom. Barbara Soblewski Garcia sees a period of strong economic growth in real estate and the stock market, which will be nice.
If we can avoid the giant bats.

I am always amazed by this fat stooge Sylvia Browne when she’s on Oprah. (Not that I watch Oprah, but let’s face it, blistering through a hundred channels over and over again you do see things!) All these nitwit women sit there nodding their heads as this moron prattles off the most general of predictions: “I see great happiness for you; I see saddness for you; the next year will be troublesome; you will have a problem with money...................and on, and on, and on. What a bunch of dolts!
I predict that giant nude Sarah Palin bats will assassinate Obama.
Predicting an assasination attempt is pretty standard fare for “psychics”. Basically they predict it for every president and eventually somebody tries.
I really hope we don’t see an assassination, because that is the absolutely LAST thing we need.

Agreed. But assassination attempts on US presidents are so common that predicting one is hardly a great feat of prognostication.
I agree. I really do not want to see the assassination of another American President.
I would not even want to think about the repercussions of that at home or abroad.
However, when something does happen regards Obama, this of course will be made into a race issue. Oh those crazy Christian right wingers!
All things considered, the economy, terrorist events, his frontal assault on Judea-Christian values...... it's actually quite amazing nothing has happened yet!
The difference is that with Bush the media justified an attempt on Bush and with Obama they’ll do all they can to paint the right as being responsible for it.
I could not stand the next 20 years if O was made into a JFK martyr. The media gushing would never end, and my head would eventually explode.
I agree with you. I want to see Barack Hussein Obama and his entire Anti-American ilk, the Democrat Party destroyed politically and forced to live the rest of his and their lives in total shame and dishonor.
That didn't take much psychic ability to predict that.
I actually do remember there being a sort of “justification” after the attempts on Bush W., after all they claimed he was a divisive President, disliked over seas, blah blah blah....... The stories had an almost “He brought it on himself” flavor to them.
Huh? -- how can they predict the future if they can't even predict the present?
