What a sweet picture, Megs!
It will be cold here, too
...but hope there is no snow!

Tired of winter?
Go to your local florist
Pick up some flowers,
Take a deep breath
And, pretend it's SPRING!JC, I don't recommend you do this
Until all your ice is melted!

For All The Cat~People Of Amy's Place
Snow Day
Sometime between the plush velvet of night and the bright light of day
The soft green stuff called 'Grass' has decided to go away
So strange that something so familiar should be here one moment and gone the next
Replaced by a soft and shimmering blanket of whiteness leaves me quite perplexed!
Especially when My Pretty One tries to patiently explain
That this shimmering whiteness called 'Snow' is nothing more than frozen rain!
A conundrum, since rain is every Kitten's nemesis and makes things a mess
That will have to confronted with a very meticulous, personal test
To discover just how cold 'Snow' really is and deep my paws will sink
Since this shimmering stuff is quite deceptive and requires time to think
When taking that first step or contemplating a long and graceful leap
That may end with my being swallowed up after landing in a heap
Given these possibilities, I may postpone my exploration for awhile
Or enjoy the comforts of indoor life until the 'Grass' comes back with style!
