F. R. has had some troubles lately. Don’t know how much we miss it until the minute we can’t get on...LOL!
Think ya’ll will get any snow this time or just cold freezing rain? I’ve had enough! When snow comes, we all want vegetable soup, potato soup or a big pot of beans of some kind. Its just so good when the weather is bad. I had planned on making spaghetti in the morning so thats what I will have for the weekend.

Barnyard Logic
The rabid chicken crossed the road
to bite the farmer’s dog in his abode
He then took out after the farmer too

A shotgun blast and the job was done

I am so weary but full of praise to God.
The Angiogram showed no damage to the arteries,no blockage, and his stents are secure and doing well.
The Cardiologist feels that the test yesterday ( not sure of the name) was a “ false positive” due to some terrible coughing and congestion Mel has had.
It was such a relief when the cardiologist came in and told me his findings I just sat and bawled.
...One report from some chest xrays did say “ possible pneumonia”...so we still have some confusion about that .
The bottom line, I just brought him home a half hour ago, weak and tired but thankful.
I have a physical tomorrow myself and would love prayer for wisdom from the doctor. I have had continuous UTI’s this year, and just this afternoon
found a lump under my arm pit that is very sore....sigh. So Thanks for your prayers for our family...

Oh, Polly, I am right this moment, sending up my greatfulness for the results for Mel. WOW!!! Wonderful to hear, and I thank you for the update! Prayers that it is not pneumonia, but something easily cured with antibiotics!
Now, we will uphold you in prayer, tomorrow, asking for ‘clear’ tests, and no serious problems!

BACON AND HASH BROWNS IN AN OMELET
PORK CHOP (Center cut, gently pan seared and topped with Chutney)
STEAK (Thin sliced and drizzled with a rich brown gravy)
PORK SAUSAGE (Gently fried to perfection and rolled in pancake and served with butter and syrup)
TOASTED ONION BREAD (with whipped garlic butter)
MILK Chilled (Chocolate and white)
COFFEE (Ecuadorian mild roast)
TEA (rich, hot and fresh)
JUICES (assorted, fresh squeezed and all you want)
CEREALS (Hot and cold)
Mid-morning Snack
Bacon rolled up in a cupcake cup and baked, topped with an egg, poached. A splash of bearnase and served hot as a sort of pop-in-the-mouth item

Six of one, half dozen of the other. LOL We’ve been slack for a couple of months, time to catch our breath. It’s winding up and soon we won’t have time to breathe. Already have some cole crops started. Usually have stuff ready to sell by now but it’s been so cold and wet, I didn’t see much point. Anything that gets put out now is either going to freeze or drown.
Roses will be in in about two weeks—250 that have to be potted and spaced out on the tarp. Cuttings for hanging baskets should be in soon, and we’ll start our first crop of maters and peppers from seed. I’ll love it for about 2 months. By the end of May, I’ll be frazzled and I’ll probably get snappy when some one asks me how many are in a 4 pack. LOL
Spiridon Louis isn’t well known around the world, but he is in Greece. That’s because of what happened in 1896 when the Olympic Games were revived in Athens.

The apostle Paul used running a race as a picture of the Christian life. In 1 Corinthians 9:24, he challenged us not just to run but to run to win, saying, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” Not only did Paul teach this but he lived it out. In his final epistle, he said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Tim. 4:7). Having finished his race, Paul joyfully anticipated receiving the victory crown from the King of heaven.
Like Paul, run your earthly race to win—and to please your King.
