Good morning, Jaycee. Thank you.
Congrats on the Colt's win.
I have lots to do today, so there will not be many new graphics. :(
Wishing you a Monday filled with sunshine.
Thank you for helping with the thread.
I really appreciate your help.

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
L/Cpl. Jeremy Kane, USMC, KIA Afghanistan 24JAN2010
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Eternal Father, Strong to Save
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

That is beautiful, Meg. Thank you.
I will try to get some pictures of our mountains posted later.
Yosemite and the mountains to our East have a lovely winter coat.
Skiers are thrilled.
Mr Mittens seems much better today.
When he came in for breakfast, he ate it instead of just looking at it.
Maybe he got into something; there is poison out for ground squirrels.
The squirrels do massive damage to our local agriculture.
Have a delightful day.

I like a white Christmas but there have been many a time I have felt like Cornnetta Jean.
Reminds me of one of my favorite poems by Robert Frost about the changing seasons:
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower,
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

Thank you for the lovely graphic and compliment. I love Amy's Place, therefore I enjoy being on and I enjoy posting pretty things too. I also enjoy other's pretty posts!
Don't worry, you can't make new graphics every day! Just use what you have or none if you don't have time. We all have many things in our lives to do all the time!! I'm getting ready now to go to the bank and post office. There is some place to go every day looks like!

Hi Mitch! Well, I do a lot of searching Google and any others I can find! I was kidding with some on the thread the other day and told them "I thought I had more graphics than Google and they would be borrowing from me"....LOL! I am also always joking that my computer may blow up one day because I have too much in it! Searching can be addictive for me. Hope things are well with you and its great hearing from you!

Today, I went to the store, and driving north, I noticed that traffic coming toward me was coming to a stop.
I looked out my window, and a man was laying in the street. A motorcycle was laying near him - totally mangled.
A passerby was running to him - and I saw him bend over the man - I couldn’t stop, as traffic was heavy behind me, and the injured man was getting assistance.
But - I am still shook up at seeing that. I’ll catch up with pings later, folks.
To: yorkie
A scene like that would shake any of us up! Its hard to get it out of your mind. Sorry you witnessed that, yorkie!
