Saw a Osprey high in the sky this afternoon. Looked like it was head’n for the Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth.

Osprey, Pandion haliaetus. This is a fairly young male. He’s turning out to be a good model, I just hope no one spooks him. I don’t know why anyone would want to but there are a lot of strange people around who hate hawks of any kind.
