In the 24 world, we’ve already had not one, but TWO nuclear detonations on our soil. So maybe they can’t use radiation sensors to find the leaking nuclear fuel rods.
Which of course, it makes sense that the Russian mafia would smuggle them into New York so they could sell them to the middle east, since I’m sure our ports are much less protected than the direct route to Iran.
