Season 8 Premiers on SUNDAY NIGHT, January 17 with a TWO hour opening episode at 9 Eastern.
On Monday night we are treated to ANOTHER two hour episode again starting at 9 Eastern.
Hard to tell which way this episode will swing...back to the tough as nails UN-PC style or will we get more handwringing and Islamo-Gaia Love like last year?
Here's a little feature from the 24 website
http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=twentyfour&ep=1256696811731
This season starts off in NYC with Jack trying to establish a 'normal' life with his daughter. But...some stuff goes down at the UN and "that's when the day starts to go wrong" as Jack puts it...
and hes aces with a fire axe.
You could say Jack Bauer pulled a Jack Torrance. ;-D
But then Chloe is also too stupid to run the picture.
This may be the end for me.
A scumbag who dies just before he can give up some information.
A person at CTU who isn't a mole, but isn't who she claims to be.
An innocent couple who decide to delude themselves into thinking they can avoid dying long enough to aid the terrorist plot rather than thwart it.
Tight, tense shots on Jack's family so we're always wondering if/when they will be kidnapped.
A main plot that revolves around a lone sane Arab trying to do good, while every other Arab around him tries to sabotage him.
Is this a new series, or a re-run from a couple of years ago?
She was a really, really bad guy, black-widow type in Nip/Tuck last season. (Teddi)
Oops - I accidentally sent this as a PM first. Sorry about that. Multitasking and watching past my bedtime.
Bump for tonight.
I admire you folks who can watch & post. I stretch out on floor & watch. I could bring the notebook down I guess, but I seem to have a hard enough time following it all w/o posting!!!!
Looks like a good season shaping up. Of course color me somewhat confused but that is part of 24’s fun!
see ya’ll tonight and yes, get the dog walk in first!!!
jonny, torture like waterboarding doesn’t work, haven’t you been listening? sigh...
;)
Hey how did last year end? I can’t remember if “you know who” lived or died....
OK, I had to refresh my memory on Torrence.
Here's Johnny...former fire axe champion until Jack came back for '24' season 8.
You have a quick 2 more hours tonite...before you quit 24 for good
The Director Ghetto talk is a bit much. This is looking like PC TV to the max so far. Its 60/40 I bail on it this year. The no torture rule and wonderful Ahmacrazyraghed is hard to get your head around.
Pray for Scott Brown
BORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-ING!
You would think that w/all the moles CTU would do a background check once in a while??
Here is an entertaining plot summary for the first two hours, courtesy of NRO’s Shannen Coffin:

Actor is Doug Hutchison......he was also Eugine Victor Tooms in a couple of X-Files episodes.
Or Eugene.....
Near the end of the movie (Redemption) before Season 7 the Jon Voigt character comes out of a car that has some high-up government official in it.
Is that high-up official Ethan?
If not, who was it?
If yes, then is Ethan still potentially part of the conspiracy?
Thanks for any comments. I've visited the 24 site and they don't have a scene-by-scene synopsis of the movie Redemption, and at the time there was no way to view it.
Part 2:
Tonight 8 Eastern / 7 CENTRAL / 7 Mountain
Additional Bullets for Jack may be found in the Armory.
FRECKLES!!!
That is what FAST forward is for. I never watch in real time. I am watching last night's episode on the tivo now. Tonight I will start watching 30 to 45 minutes in so that I can zap all the commercials.
Real people have hearts....They should do a scene showing Chloe visiting a certain grave site....with flowers and tears. That guy loved her.
