Season 8 Premiers on SUNDAY NIGHT, January 17 with a TWO hour opening episode at 9 Eastern.
On Monday night we are treated to ANOTHER two hour episode again starting at 9 Eastern.
Hard to tell which way this episode will swing...back to the tough as nails UN-PC style or will we get more handwringing and Islamo-Gaia Love like last year?
Here's a little feature from the 24 website

This season starts off in NYC with Jack trying to establish a 'normal' life with his daughter. But...some stuff goes down at the UN and "that's when the day starts to go wrong" as Jack puts it...
And she passed secrety security vetting HOW?
Oh, yeah, Obozo administration, of course.
>>I’m still not interested in this subplot :) <<
That’s because it’s done over and over again.
Doesn’t CTU vet anyone?
Oh yeah, he’s doing something pervy that involves her lady things. I’m sure of it.
Stsarbuck has a stalker in this series also, it seems. Maybe she will waterboard him like she did Leoben.
It’s hard when you know there’s no way in hell she could have faked her fingerprints to get through the secret security clearance she must have needed to get that job.
Unless she’s another Obama appointment, of course.
Oops, I forgot she was Manhands.
Dana must be a holdover from the Clinton administration, so the ex-con angle fits perfectly....
He’s the president of IRK.
Her giant man-hands can't be fingerprinted ;)
Nuclear materials are here? in the US?
Madam Prez is surprised.
We all know why they want uranium.
So they can power they can get George and whatsherface together at the Under the Sea Dance and get Marty back to the future!
Is that Obama in disguise? gee, why didn’t our detectors pick them up Mdm Prez?1
Doesn’t booze hamper clotting?
Lea Thompson... she’s my density...
LMAO!! They don’t fit the sensor.
She should just kill him. She’s already an ex-con who attempted murder, and it would solve all her problems. And the next time someone threatens her, she could tell them she killed the last guy who tried.
But she doesn’t come across at all like a girl who could have really tried to kill someone. She’s really quite the opposite.
Yes, but you don’t care after a while.
