24 Season 8: Live Thread

Season 8 Premiers on SUNDAY NIGHT, January 17 with a TWO hour opening episode at 9 Eastern.

On Monday night we are treated to ANOTHER two hour episode again starting at 9 Eastern.

Hard to tell which way this episode will swing...back to the tough as nails UN-PC style or will we get more handwringing and Islamo-Gaia Love like last year?

This season starts off in NYC with Jack trying to establish a 'normal' life with his daughter. But...some stuff goes down at the UN and "that's when the day starts to go wrong" as Jack puts it...

THE REAL STORY: Freckles will replace Jack as the hero, jack will die this season, freckles will take over and they (fox) will try out season 9 with freckles as the star, jack dead. Sorry, no jack, no watch.

We need a Lost live thread, but takes so much concentration to watch it.

Somebody tried to keep a Lost thread going, but it didn't work for that very reason.

When does Lost start again? I usually wait for the DVDs, but this being the last season, I don't think I can wait until next December to see what happens, lol

LOL--you know, I've never even tried to watch it (ducking!) My excuse is that it's four hours long, but I can sit through SIX hours of Lonesome Dove on DVD with no complaints :)
