I have a tribute to The Other Harry on my FReep page.
And then of course there’s Laz, Lucky19, al baby, Pissant and Slings and Arrows.
(Do you get the feeling I’m drawn towards lonely looser FReepers. Sorry guys. J/K!!)
And Wagglebee. Love the Wagglebee pings.
Jeff Head. Always a good post.
Newbie of the year: Massmike. Good work on exposing Kevin Jennings for the perv he is.
Jim Rob - of course. Especially for the time he did not ban me for telling him he was givving half-assed answers. I even found a pic of a half-assed answer award and posted that to him. He took it good naturedly.
And even the Religion Moderator. Lord knows I try to stay away from those religion threads. If ever I get the zot, you can be sure the RM will probably be involved. But he/she is a good person.
But the thought that Sarah Palin wasn't mentioned did occur to me. But remember, her formal introduction did not come until summer of 2008. Prior to that, most people in the general public had not heard of her. I had only heard of her wildly high approval rating but her name wasn't mentioned. Only the 'woman governor of AK' was mentioned. I'm going to review that thread some more though.
You're right...no one knows for sure what the landscape will look like in the future but, not seeing the 'exact' future and interpreting the 'tea leaves' according to what is happening right now, using history as a guideline, we can clearly see that the country is headed downward and will fall if something doesn't happen soon. If you have a chance to read this: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2405975/posts, it's really interesting.
Finally (sorry so lengthy), I was also reading the thread that was started on 09/11/2001 which is a true documentary of that day (there is a gap in it though)and there were some FReepers that were absolutely 'spot on' in their postings, even mentioning Osama bin Laden by name. If you have a chance, pull that thread up as well.
All I know CD, our Republic is disappearing and in it's place, a soviet styled system is emerging. As this monster said during his acceptance speech "Change has come to America!" which for me, was the most chilling aspect of that speech.

Aw, maaaaaaan......
Hey, thank you. Your list brings back memories, lotta names I haven’t seen in a while.
I liked him. Didn't always agree with him, but he was a smart guy.
No way could I list everyone!
That would be very sad news indeed. Can anyone verify whether this is true?
Ahhh. thank you.
and vice versa to you ;)
. . . I never knew what "encyclopedic knowledge" meant until I asked BluesDuke what I thought was a little baseball question and got about a four-page response. . . unaided by Internet browsing.
Amazing what a good, solid home library can do, no? ;)
Besides, give credit to the questioner. The only stupid question may be the question you don't ask, but my friend rhema asks solid questions and the exchanges are always instructive and delightful.

Not sure if you enjoy my OFST posts or my non-silly posts more, but I guess it doesn't matter.
