Hope your sound came on!
Your angel is just beautiful. I have an angel collection on my mantel in the living room. They are there all the time.
Can’t believe you’ve put up so many trees. I put my living room tree up yesterday and finished the ornaments today. I have to do a little at a time. I have 2 small trees with white lights and little red bows on pedestals on the fireplace in the living room with my little girl (I call her) in her red velvet outfit trimmed in white fur holding a little book in one arm and a candle in her other hand and she is animated.
I haven’t finished decorating but hope I can finish by Tuesday, so I can shop some (if I’m able)....walking too much is hard with the hip thing.
My cousin called from Florida this morning to tell me her son passed away and the funeral was Friday. He was 45. She said he had gotten some kind of infection that entered his blood stream and when it first started as an ailment about 6 months ago, that the doctors didn’t pay enough attention to it and it had become worse until it killed him. I was just stunned by this. Was not able to get it off my mind today.
Nope, not on that one channel. Andre Bocelli is on now with no sound, but thank goodness I saw it a few nights ago and it was wonderful. Worth watching again because it was NOT politically correct. Had great music. I truly love his voice.
JC, I am so sorry to hear that your cousin’s son passed away at age 45. I am wondering if it was MRSA. It is such a devastating bacteria - and hard to cure.
I am sending prayers, and sincere condolences for your cousin and her son’s family.
JC, all my trees are 3 or 4 feet - no big one, this year. (And, the best part - no lights to string!~)
Good Evening Yorkie! That was absolutely adorable. I watched it over and over! I want that kitty too! I need a Kitten Farm!
Dear Dear Kitty Mittens!
My heart said a hearty AMEN to your poem!
I agree with Kittyclaws ... I’m printing that out.
You said in poetry, what my heart yearns for daily...
“Oh to be like Thee, Oh to be like Thee; Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou Art..”
Polly
I watched it over and over, too, Polly. The very last two seconds is the cutest part, I think!
Thank you and bless you, yorkie.
OH .... a beautiful angel to end our day here! What a wonderful concert we attended tonight.
My daughter is on staff at Azusa Pacific University and we went with her this afternoon to hear the University Choir and Orchestra in their annual Christmas Concert. When they sang “All Is Well” I just couldn’t contain the tears.
This isn’t the best version of the song but I found it on youtube from another choir...wish APU choir had it on as it was supurb!

I called my cousin’s other son in Hickory, N.C. and spoke to his wife and she couldn’t think of the name. I asked her if it was Mrsa and she said no, she didn’t think so. But it was something anyone could catch...said its airborne....plus there were other ways to get it.
I won’t be satisfied until I know. Sounds like Mrsa to me. How does one catch Mrsa, if you know.
I am so sorry to hear about your cousin’s son’s death Jaycee.45 is so young. What a shame that the doctor didn’t catch this soon enough.
Had that happen to a very dear friend of mine too.She got a small scratch that wasn’t cared for. Developed blood poisoning and died.
Prayers for your cousin’s family and you , dear Jaycee!
Thank you Polly. I went over to the couch and dozed off (I can do that easy when I’m tired)..LOL!
Yes, we do hate to hear of things like that, especially being so young. Children are not supposed to die before their parents, we always say. I know he wasn’t a child, but I love mine no matter how old they are! He was the most robust looking young man, full of fun and energy, hard worker, helped his mind all the time. Its just hard to understand sometimes!!
I haven’t listened to your song yet, but it is one of my favorites and we sing it at church occasionally and it always makes the tears well up in my eyes. Getting ready for bed. Glad your day was so enjoyable, polly! See you tomorrow. (((Hugs)))
Polly, I meant ‘helped his mom all the time’....NOT ‘helped his mind all the time’ The brain must still be asleep...LOL!
LOLOL!!! Jaycee...thanks for explaining it...
Here is a better version of the “ All is Well”...
