Who cares? Why is this any of our business? They may have some problems, but I am certain they paid their bills. If the Woods are smart, they will tell the media to go pound sand.

It is a front page news story (and front page on Drudge), this is the world's richest athlete, who has earned $100 playing golf, but has also earned an estimated $1 Billion from endorsements and business deals.
It now involves possible charges against his wife, and/or lying to investigators.
I would say that qualifies as news.
indy, if a crime happened then it’s by definition a public matter, and becomes the public’s business. Maybe nobody cares, but that’s not to say it’s not the public’s business. All matters of criminal law are the public’s business.
I was amused a while back when Spitzer prefaced his famous press conference with “I want to briefly address a private matter.’ Even a first year law student knows that matters of criminal law are not a ‘private matter.’
