It’s a huge point. The Catholic Church is the Church that safeguarded the writings of the early Christians and deemed which ones would be considered inspired by the Holy Spirit and collected into the New Testament.

Our Creed is very succinct— and beautiful. In addition to the Bible, our faith tradition is two thousand years of the best intellects, saints, and the Holy Spirit all working expand our understanding of what God wants from us. We have the Sacraments, outward signs instituted by Christ and carried on throughout time to strengthen us with grace. It’s really wonderful.

Christ promised He would not leave us orphans. He set up the Church and sent the Holy Spirit to guide it forever, until the end of time.

Anyone who wants a Church that is steeped in history, deep, glorious, mysterious, powerful, orthodox, loving and humble at the same time (kind of like Christ Himself!) is welcome. You won’t be disappointed.

All you had to do was to read your own Book.

John 6:28-29
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Good grief, kid...

What have you been drinking ???

The history of the Catholic Church is also murder and bloodshed and the burning of so called heretics at the stake and some gruesome torture on the side...
