(Vanity)Time to Adopt a Soldier!
Adopt a US Soldier ^

Posted on 11/13/2009 5:25:40 PM PST by MrsEmmaPeel

I know things are tough out there, folks -- but its got to be even more tough for our wonderful men and women in uniform serving overseas. If you haven't done it before, or time has passed you by (like me, something you've been meaning to do, but haven't) -- make this year to be the year that you resolve to tell a complete stranger how much you appreciate his/her hard work in securing your liberties and freedoms.

An e-mail costs nothing, and means everything. Pass on your sunshine to another. Because my feeling is, they really need it now!

Its a great web site that link you up with soldiers who want to hear from the folks back home.

Thanks for posting this.
I know they need really need our support now. Moral is down and it’s no wonder why.

In think many of us are in our world of hurt with the holiday season coming up (thinking: how are we going to get through this) -- Meanwhile, everyday (it seems) the administration finds ways to insult our intelligence and stifle our liberty -- but what must it be like for those on the front lines?

Rather than being mad at Obama for not supporting our troops, I decided it was easier to be thankful that they are there.

I urge everyone to take a few moments out of their day and to find the time to adopt a soldier. It really is a cool service.

Thank you so much for your efforts! Even a simple e-mail means so much to our brave heroes on the front line.
