I liked the “change is difficult” line.

It's about how people get sucked into supporting fascism or other forms of totalitarianism. Hitler and Mussolini were wildly popular in their own countries, and also in other lands. The story of "V" is a very old story about how people make foolish mistakes in who they give their allegiance to.

This story has NOT been written about Obama. But Obama is an excellent example of what this story is warning us about.

I had to laugh when the Visitors said they were going to establish Universal Health Care World wide.

On another thread, someone said they received a response from a newspaper columnist saying that the script was finalized after Obama was elected.

The promise of Universal Health Care from the Visitors can't be coincidental. However, there's no way they could have responded so quickly to the war between Fox News and the White House -- they just got incredibly lucky that it happened just before the premiere of the show.

The same columnist claims that ABC put further episodes on hold after they saw the first 4:

The script for the pilot was written after the election, Floyd. There's also some suggestion that ABC is not entirely happy with it. Production on the show was halted after four episodes for a creative overhaul. Exactly what that means is anybody's guess..

The remake of "V" was filmed because its producers thought it would find an audience...do you think they care what the original film's target was?

This film is perfect for Obama!

Take some time and study art and its political impact. It is always about current issues (either intentionally or co-incidentally).
