As O'Donnell reminded viewers, President Bush and Vice President Cheney never went to Dover Air Force Base to honor fallen soldiers returning home while they were in office.

She didn’t criticize his “salute” she attacked him for turning dead troops into a photo-op for his never-ending campaign.
O’Donnell is truly one of the most crazed commentators on the left. Worse than Olbermann.
Can he prove they never went?
That's right. The President visited families. The last thing he wanted to do, as Obama is doing now, is to mark the return of our heroes as nothing more than a campaign stunt.
bush and cheney never tried to use dead soldiers for photo op...only a real creep would do such a thing
bttt
Absolutely right. And, it's not like the White House just released a single photograph by the official White House photographer, which I suppose could be defended as a "historical record". Nope, Obama invited a hoard of media photographers - to include still and video photographers - with him. I've said on another thread, fallen service members are not props to be used in a photo-op. Obama's actions are unforgivable.
Remember this idiot showed up with 24 members of the press to dance on the coffins of dead Soldiers.

There are plenty of areas to be critical of Bush; this is not one. He often snuck into military hospitals and insisted the media not know or not cover his activity. Say what they will about him, his respect and admiration for the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform is beyond reproach.
Yes, Bush and Cheney opted to NOT take advantage of an immoral photo op at the expense of the families of these brave men and women who have given the last full measure.
It’s quite telling that 0bama couldn’t exhibit the same sensitivity.
It’s time to take back the country.
Are they referring to ‘that guy’ who refused the pledge of allegiance. That photo needs more air time.
Obamas actions, by contrast, seem to indicate that our countrys defense and the protection of our men and women in uniform are his last priority, what with a schedule crowded with health care campaigning, DNC fundraising (22 events in nine months, compared to Bushs eight in 12), Olympic lobbying, special interest group appeals, lavish White House parties, and golf.

Though his title is commander in chief, Obama had no time to consult with General McChrystal until embarrassed by the generals response to an interview question that the president had spoken to him only once in 70 days. The general was quickly summoned for a 25-minute meeting/photo op/dressing down on Air Force One when the president landed in Copenhagen.
A Self-Sacrificing Soldier, a Self-Interested President
A soldier gives his life in Afghanistan, while the commander in chief goes politicking.

He may not have always gotten it right, but he could make decisions. He spent at least 20 hours a week on the wars. He did not have to ponder the true cost of war.
I pity O'Donnell. It cannot be much of an existence if it is based on rage and hatred.
Aside from the evil of his using this as a photo-op, he did look like a jerk. He obviously has no idea of how to salute and he looked like a little boy playing soldier. I guess it was so he could get his chin up in the air.
O’Donnell crazed? You mean like when he lost it with John O’Neill?
That is such a lie. You lie. You are a creepy liar that tells dirty lies. You have been lying for 35 years and you are still telling creepy lies, you dirty little lying creepy liar.
Laughing just thinking about that loon’s meltdown.
Sure hope he doesn’t own any dueling weapons.
