For the past 2weeks i have noticed significnt keyboard lag, wrds running together and letter drop when I type eitherin a documet or on aforum.
If you can read what precedes this sentence it will show you exactly what is happening.
I have a generic USB keyboard (Logitech) and have reinstaled the driver and the keyboard to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I see the problem. You are missing the “D” key.
When does the text input start slowing down?after the PC has been running for a while or after it’s first turned on?
I don’t think you have a keyboard problem persay.It seems like you have something running in the background that’s jogging your memory or CPU cycles.
I would also check to see that the PC’s cooling system is operating right.you wouldn’t believe the amount of dust that can get sucked into a PC.An overheated PC will start to act squirrly as well.
Last but Not the least check to see what programs are running in the background.If those programs are taking a high percentage of memory or system cycles shut them down temporarily and see how things operate.

I did that but it smelled of garlic when I got it back, plus whenever I hit the escape key I get an erection.
Maybe you should put some ice on that...
