Good for the lil guy.
That has got to be the best goal I have ever seen!
worth watching even if you don’t care a thing about hockey!!!
I fail to understand the use of the word “sick” in today’s parlance.....
Hope the kid spends 1/10th the time on his homework that he spent practicing this shot...but I bet not...
Paging Bill Belisle, Paging Bill Belisle, you are wanted in Portland to pick up a 9 year old and offer him a four year scholarship to Mt. St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, RI...Pronto!!
(Please use the white courtesy phone).
My friend at work just had a son. I told him to pick a sport and glue the equipment to his hand.
Wow, that’s one amazing stick trick-—the poor goalie did not know what to think about it!
My AVG says don’t go there. ???
That was sick! A little boy picking on a full grown man?
They should have had more camera angles, would have made it more interesting. /s
Too Cool and he will be laughing about that when he is 60.
Did you read the comments on the Yahoo site?
Totally disappointing.
Most of the commenters actually derided the kid’s shot and skills!
That has got to be the sickest shot I’ve ever seen. Did you see the reaction from the goalie? Looks like he was even stunned by that shot.
That shot was like an old Harlem Globetrotter move!
Now that this kid has opened the door for such moves, I can’t wait til everyone in hockey starts catching on. Hockey players will be forced to take ballet and yoga classes. -Be ONE with the stick...be ONE with the puck...
Good shot though for a kid this age.
Robbie Schremp was one of the first to do this move (AHL) so the actual move has been around for a while but the first time I have seen such a young player pull it off.
Total rockstar move, my favorite part is the goalie wondering what the heck just happened.
BTTTFL...
I thought it was going to be some freak accident, bouncing off a face kinda thing, but that kid did that on purpose. That was unbelievable.
Hmmm...Our Pgh Pens signed Sid Crosby at 18....what d’ya think?
Hey, It’s a ‘Burgh Thing!
Sign him up!
That’s pretty cool.
I’ve seen kids on my sons hockey team trying this. One of them could get it off the ground and fling it, but he wasn’t very accurate.
It seems to be the standard trick to try while you’re standing around waiting for the coach to tell you what to do.
