James Carville’s ‘Insult’

James Carville’s March 29 op-ed, “Disloyalty That Merits an Insult,” spoke volumes about what is wrong with our political system.
Mr. Carville wrote that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson was disloyal to “the Clintons” when he endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, never considering that Mr. Richardson might have been right to weigh his loyalty to the Clintons against what he feels would be best for the country. In Mr. Carville’s world, the national interest does not deserve even passing mention. In that world, the choice of the next president should depend on political favors granted by a candidate’s spouse more than a decade ago.

It is amazing without much leadership from any Republican that the White House is taking soooo much damage. From a wonderful but strange character that Beck is. I have two of his books and watch his show everyday these last two months. I hope to God that Beck can withstand what stuff is going to come his way.
Beck is on a crusade and it is likely to get BLOODY before it is over with.
This is good coming from a guy (Carville) who is about the most whacked out, incomprehensible, fruit cake ever to hit TV. Besides, he looks like how I envisage Satan, and is probably just as evil. Get thee behind me!
