‘The History Channel’ is owned in part by NBC, GE and Microsoft. I can’t watch it without throwing a shoe at the TV, LOL!

I’m no History Major, but some of the ‘history’ they sell is just flat-out lies.

They love this ‘who-do-voo-doo’ stuff, and if they had their way, they’d prove that we didn’t win WWII.

Take that for what it’s worth...I’m going to make my own destiny. You should too. Prepare for the worst and pray for the best. :)

The History Channel has changed a lot over the last couple of years. Many nights they don't do any history at all. They've gone in big for reality shows like Ice Road Truckers and Gangland. I've noticed more and more purported history shows that repeat conspiracy theories, like the Nostra show. Take that stuff with a salt lick, definitely.

The now rare occasions they do military history they seem pretty accurate still. And when they do a special on some time period or event they still do a decent job.

It's very disappointing. One of my kids is as much of a history buff as me and we used to make Friday night our History night, but we gave up on it when History quit doing history.
