I was thinking about this today. With the large number of cars produced in the USA, what is the best looking (Not necessarily best performing) car ever produced in the USA by Make, Model and Year..

Yes. Lots of funny memories of that car.
Was the only car I ever owned that when you were idling at a light, you could watch the gas gauge go from F to E before the light turned green.
It also wasn’t a good car for *making out* with your date. If I was smart, I could have written a book about Corvette Kama Sutra. Would have been a best-seller.

Yeah, I loved my Z/28 but I think I might have to agree with you on the Cobra.

I’ve loved the Ford mustangs 2+2 and Mach 1 and GT40 and Chevy Corvettes (especially the model that had the seats curved into the body)
But somebody oughta post the Studebakers (Yes I said Studebakers) produced in the 50s, starting with the 53 Starliner hard top and going through the turbo charged Hawk series.
They were designed by a famous industrial designer, Raymond Loewy, I lusted after them as a boy.

Edsels rule. And they helped get rid of all of those excess bedpans.

Yeah, that is pretty nice but I don't like the yellow canopy on the top. Must slow it down a lot too. LOL

Yes the doors weighted 90 pounds a piece. And yes the 350 was anemic.
But you have to admit the Bricklin SV-1 still has a shape that makes people turn around for a 2nd look.
