Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Poor old guy :(
We had to teach Gypsy to climb stairs when we adopted her, and she never has been very good at going down the stairs. Now that she’s older, we have to help her down, and you gots to be very, very careful to make sure if she ~goes~ she doesn’t take you with her.
We got a baby-gate to block the stairs on those occasions when she’s just a little too stiff to make it up comfortably.

Actually, that *has* been a source of motivation for me recently.
Like a mini-Winchester House?
So how’s that Global Warming working out for ya.
Good Morning All - say that Barry is something else, blizzards in Denmark and now nor’easters heading up the coast. Someone is trying to tell him something.
Looks like we’re dodged one but another ‘could’ be coming in for Christmas. Kinda brisk but should be nice tomorrow.
Time to sort the empties.
And it's still comin' down...
Totals?
To bad he can't take a hint.
Make that “too.”
I are not illiterate. :)
I’d say we have about 8-10 inches so far. Parts a bit west and north of us are saying 10-12. And estimatea are anywhere from 3-8 more inches today.
Feeling very hobbity....
Bless his little old heart.
Joseph can’t wait to take pictures of himself standing in the snow, for his friends in MS. They got all excited earlier in December about their 2” snowfall. Joseph told them about the phenomenom of ‘thunder snow’, and they didn’t believe him. He’s going to try to get video and sound to prove it to them!
Our biggest concern right now is getting Clare home safely. She takes off from Ft. Myers this afternoon, and supposed to go through NYC. There will likely be delays, but if we can get her by midnight, and get on home, we’ll be fine. It’s a straight shot down the Mass Pike from the airport, and the snow will be much lighter out where we live.
Friends here reported hearing thunder snow last night.
Luke has been out twice and keeps asking when I’m going to come out as well. Eventually...
Jr. had to be at work at 7 a.m. His store had their grand re-opening today at themall. Doubt they’ll do the sales they’d hoped.
Church is all shut down for today and tomorrow.
Turns out, there was a direct flight to Boston, that left 45 mins. before her scheduled flight, so they put her on that one! She'll arrive in Boston just before 7, well before the snow starts to fly! I'm taking Joseph with me, and the three of us will stop at the grocery store on the way home, getting what we need for Christmas. If we have to get any other groceries before Thursday, it will be a very short trip, so we won't have to battle the crowds.
Evening folks, quiet day we see; hope all the travelers make it to their destination.
Clare’s flight arrived right on time! We did our grocery shopping, on the way back, and now we’re home and snug! We don’t have choir in the morning, so we’ll likely wait to go to 5:30 Mass. We’ll have to get the fireplace going first thing in the morning, though, and enjoy watching the snow piling up outside. ;o)
