Kimchi is GREAT! LOVE IT!

Sure, it can be odiferous, and the results can be stinky, but if you REALLY want SERIOUS TOXIC (but insanely tasty!), try this:

STINKY TOFU

"...the odor of stinky tofu is said to resemble that of rotten garbage or manure, even by its enthusiasts..." -- and I will vouch for that. First time I smelled it I thought I'd stumbled into the back of a Philadelphia garbage truck in August... but it tastes great if you can get it past your nose.

Anyway, compared to that, Kimchi is MILD....

oops, hit "POST" too soon...

Anyway, I was gonna add that, to my knowledge, nobody claims the same health benefits for Stinky Tofu, as for Kimchi. I'm willing to believe the stories about Kimchi. If they claim similar benefits for Stinky Tofu, it would have to be filed under "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger". ;-)

I wasn’t referring to its smell as prepared — I was referring to the smell when it comes out the other end. Horrid beyond description.
