Well, thank goodness the outside of the refrigerator was washed and rinsed today. Looks like a new one. I had cleaned it inside and threw away lots of things I couldn’t hardly recognize. This sure has been hard for me. Glad I started 2 weeks ago because I can only do so much and rest! A few more things to tie up....little last minute things.

I got up early and made my grocery order and had intended to get to the store early but I just didn’t feel that good. As soon as I empty my bucket and clean up that little mess, I will get ready to go to the store. I have to ride the cart at this time, but as I told my doctor yesterday(Orthopedist) that I pray this is temporary! He was so nice yesterday and acted like he was tired. He’s young and I asked him ‘had he had a hard day.’ And he drooped his shoulders and said ‘yes’. He is setting up the appointments for more shots.

See ya’ll when I can! Love your little ritzy yorkies. I miss yorkie too but she’s had a lot on her plate!

I changed the vacuum cleaner bag...showing good intentions.

I heard a comedian say to just leave the vacuum cleaner out all the time and say "I have been cleaning house and am getting ready to vacuum". OR put a few get well cards on the mantel or table and say 'I've been under the weather for a little while'. In my case, it would be true....LOL~! See you later!

Happy Caturday! Cute kitty graphic Meg! Puppies seem to find the TP rolls to be entertaining too.

Gorgeous day here in WI, but still no rain. Grass is getting crunchier by the day. At least it’s not 80 degrees anymore. We just had 10 days straight of 80-85. Now it’s back to seasonal 70’s and 50’s at night.

UPDATE FOR ALL WHO PRAYED FOR MY AUNT MICKEY: This past week they did nuclear medicine on her, a thyroid test of some kind. They found nodules on her thyroid. Monday she gets the OK from her primary doc to go to the next step which is probably surgury to remove the nodules. From what I’ve learned about the thyroid’s functions over the years, an abnormal thyroid can really cause problems. She’s still very ill, but at least they found a cause for it. They have made numerous diagnoses over the summer. I think this one is the right one. I will leave here to see her in 2 weeks. She is glad me, my mom and my grammy are all going to be with her soon. She is 1000 miles from us.

She asks for prayers for fast appointments. When she called for an appt for the next specialist, the person on the phone said it would be in December. Auntie said she’d be dead by then. She’s lost a huge amount of weight this summer from this illness. She asked that I pray for her to get into see the last few specialists that can fix this problem so she can get back to normal again. She really can’t wait for months anymore to resolve this. We need her in to get those nodules removed ASAP. Pray with me Sisters. (((HUGS)))

Its always good to know what is causing the problems and I realize there is always a waiting game to get on with the rest of what needs to be done.

I pray that she can get an earlier appt. than December! Does she have anyone there that can speak with the doctors, etc. and help her get an earlier appointment?

We will keep praying for her and maybe we can get a miracle! Am so glad you all are going to visit her soon. This will do her a world of good to see her loved ones! God Bless All of you!

Sad news in the MacNessa household - Paris the Wonder Dog is no more. He was old and very sick - advanced heart failure. We had to have him put to sleep this morning. We will miss him very much.

Yes, she is hoping that her primary doc can expedite the next specialist appointment. She needs an ultrasound of the thyroid and then probably surgery to remove the nodules. Once that is done she should feel OK again. Poor thing has been trying to get this figured out since Mother’s Day and she’s steadily lost weight the whole time. She’s winded going up a flight of stairs at home. She is only in her mid-60’s and was so active before this happened. Thanks for your prayers!

Sure was sorry to read this, Conor! There comes a time when we have to let go of a faithful pet but its a hard thing to go through. Paris was a pretty dog and bet sweet as pie! We'll be thinking of you all!

I understand being without internet and land lines. I was without for 3 days due to it happening on the weekend. I felt so isolated. Happy they got the problem resolved so you could be here yesterday.
