We have talked about canned bacon in the past, but if you want the Cadillac of preserved pork you pick up a can of Tac-Bac. This xxxx [edited] lasts for 10 years!
What would it taste like? What would it taste like after 10 years in the can? I'm horrified and intrigued at the same time. If you are willing to try it out, each can of Tac-Bac holds about 54 slices of bacon. Not a bad deal for $16 a can.

My little cast iron skillet works too, but hard to work with it having to be so close to the flame. Usually when I cook camp breakfast, we have plenty of hot coals from the previous nights fire. No flame necessary.

LOL... and yes indeed, bacon alone is proof that there is a God. Crisp tasty goodness like that could NOT have happened by accident.
