Hi All,
I just received an e-mail from "saveliberty" advising me she has been hospitalized. The cause as she wrote was:
"I have a significant, but benign tumor near my ear that is pushing against a nerve (which hemorrhaged). It sounds bad but I have excellent care."
It certainly does sound serious to me, even though saveliberty said she was being well cared for. She did want me to let her FRiends here know of her condition. When I get further info, I will post it.
In the mean time, if you could add saveliberty to your prayers, I know she would be comforted by that.
saveliberty is often the Threadmistress, and I am but a poster. So, if you all could perhaps place saveliberty's situation in the proper locations, I would be very grateful. [Or Moderators, if you are reading this.]
Get well soon, saveliberty!
Thank you so much, LucyJo!
Thank you, Alamo-Girl!
Thank you, Foxy! I am a tad tired still, but will post some more to the blog when I am up to it.
You have regular email and yes, the overall news is good.
I will post something here soon. :)
Hello everyone!
Yesterday, I met with the doctor. It was a very long visit and I was clearly overtired. By the time that we came home, I needed to go to sleep straight away.
The short story is that the overall news is good! Thank you so much for your support and prayers!
The doctor wants to go ahead and get the tumor removed as soon as possible - Hooray!
He also thought that scheduling would not be quick (there are a lot of people involved) and thought that it might take as long as 6 weeks to do. However, the nurse is going to call us later as she wants to help to make this faster - Yay!
BTW I am the one that everyone checks for short term memory loss but she forgot to give me the permission papers to sign. LOL I will ask her when she calls today.
The second item of good news is that they do not anticipate surgery on the hemorrhaged area! Woo hoo!
There are hurdles that I will need to deal with to get through these preparations, but I am looking at the overall good outlook as the motivation to go forward full speed ahead.
Thank you so much for your kind words, prayers, support and friendship!
Cheers,
save
Only one photo today and it’s no-cal. :)

Good morning, save.
Lovely cup of coffee.
You are so thoughtful :)
Good morning, and thank you so much for keeping us updated!
Next time you see the doc, find out what would happen to you if you didn’t have insurance. I will bet cash money he would treat you the same.
Keeping you in my prayers.
Have a great day!
:) Good morning, Bahbah!
You are welcome, Bahbah!
Dad makes the best coffee and I wanted to share it.
It is hilarious how I angle the camera from my laptop to take these photos, but I can’t make myself go get the camera, take the pictures and then trot to the third floor to download them. LOL
;) Thank you, Miss Marple! Every prayer helps so much!
At this point, I am grateful for the coverage that I have and don’t want to put these excellent doctors on the spot. ;)
I am also glad that I organized the medical and financial information into binders as this makes it easy for me or someone else to work through any problems if something should happen while I am in hospital.
I hope that you have a great day today, too!
Good news, saveliberty! We’ll continue to keep you in our prayers. Have a wonderful day! :)
Thank you, toomanygrasshoppers!
Every prayer helps! :)
I hope that you have a great day today too!
I hope they get things scheduled quickly. When I had back surgery, I didn't like the long wait just to get a date. I shouldn't complain as this time next year, the wait could be months, not weeks if Big BO has his way with health care, eh?
Sending prayers for speedy and unproblematic (is that even a word?) surgey date.
Praise the Lord for the good news and prayers for successful surgery and a quick recovery time. God bless you and give you strength and courage for the days ahead.
Thank you, CAluvdubya!
I will know more either today or Monday, depending on what the nurse can work out.
In some ways, waiting is hard, but in others, it can be part of the preparation.
Keeping happy thoughts.

When you write...it is night. I read it soon, but not before noon!
