Hi All,
I just received an e-mail from "saveliberty" advising me she has been hospitalized. The cause as she wrote was:
"I have a significant, but benign tumor near my ear that is pushing against a nerve (which hemorrhaged). It sounds bad but I have excellent care."
It certainly does sound serious to me, even though saveliberty said she was being well cared for. She did want me to let her FRiends here know of her condition. When I get further info, I will post it.
In the mean time, if you could add saveliberty to your prayers, I know she would be comforted by that.
saveliberty is often the Threadmistress, and I am but a poster. So, if you all could perhaps place saveliberty's situation in the proper locations, I would be very grateful. [Or Moderators, if you are reading this.]

She is in my prayers - looking forward for her speedy recovery - and seeing her back soon...

I am doing better than I was yesterday, and that’s very good news. Although my family will get annoyed with my very limited diet. ;)
Who doesn’t love chicken soup? [Don’t mind me, I have a big thing in my head. LOL]
Chocolate may be a problem but I don’t know yet. I’ve been staying away until after surgery, in the hope that these reactions will go away after the swelling subsides.

So sorry to hear that you had a rough night, save. I do pray that there is something you can do to help the situation until you can have your surgery.

I hadn’t seen the 12 days of O-Mas. They nailed it, and with humor! Wish it was only 12 days! We’re still enduring the first 12 months - seem like an eternity...sigh.

Just a possibility: Obama has been appearing on TV with greater frequency and I have found the more I watch him the more headaches I seem to get. Just a thought. 8)
I was very impressed that you were able to talk with your doctor on the telephone. That is almost as rare as a house call!
Remember that Santa is making his list and checking it twice, trying to find out who is naughty...or not resting. So rest up, S/L.

I am feeling much better now. ;) Mom thinks that the Nurse Practitioner does not call me back as I know more about my condition than she does. LOL
The MRI will happen in a couple of days and then comes Christmas.
Then comes the surgery - finally! Yay!

I feel much better today. I think I figured out a balance of food and drink that helps to alleviate headaches.
LOL But because it’s still early days yet, there’s a lot of repetition.

I think I figured out the balance of what I can and can’t have. Mom said that the Nurse won’t return my calls as she knows that I have a better understanding of how to treat my condition than she does.

The good news is, I won’t get mad cow disease. The bad news is, how much chicken can a person take? LOL
Not a problem so far for me, but one day, Mom and Dad will rebel. :)

I know you can’t feel well with all that you’re going through; but, it won’t be long now, thank goodness! It will be good to be on the recovery and healing side of the situation!

Well, the time is getting closer for you.. I am glad you have prayer warriors from around the country approaching the throne on your behalf..
Unfortunately, one of my triggers is chocolate...a sad day when I found that out...
