thx to Red Badger
A socialist writer skewered the Formula One scene. Then her article vanished.
Editors for Road & Track aren’t saying why they yanked Kate Wagner’s story from the website shortly after it published
Thanks.
I recall working for two weeks in Montreal (the company I worked for was setting up a ‘Canadian approved’ assembly facility) and my contact there showed be ‘around’ — a nice fellow. This was 1999 or 2000.
He made sure to show me the F1 track and was VERY proud of the 3,500 F1 folks that attended (ticket holders, not related to teams) every race. “They purchase a lot of expensive jewelry and goods from our stores. It’s great for our economy.”
And (note to self SELF:YOU SHOULD NEVER START A SENTENCE WITH THE WORD AND) Road & Track sent a socialist to follow F1? Sheeshe! Tony Hogg is turning over in his grave!
Saw that, guess the car companies do not like socialists… 😂😂😂
That’s a pretty interesting story.
And she cleared doesn’t understand the concept of not biting the hand that feeds her.
Now, that’s the only reason I read it…
She missed the bigger picture, which is how FIA bilks the teams and keeps them all running on fumes so they can get fat.
