Past award recipients include Chip Ganassi, Roger Penske, Bobby Rahal, Richard Petty, Lyn St. James and Mario Andretti. The award memorializes Cameron Argetsinger, often referred to as the father of American road racing.
Cool ! Thanks for sharing that.
In other NUTSCAR news JGR Team has sold out a big chunk to the Redskins (or whatever they’re called now) Conglomerate. Leaving The Coach a minority partner.

I’m curious to see what the hoodrats are going to do when NUTSCAR is in town. I’m guessing that they will have the usual mayhem and thuggery. Race car jackings, theft, finding the cars up on blocks when they open the garage doors stealing the Tires/Wheels, Grandstand gunfire exchanges, the occasional stolen Transporter, missing Radio systems, Crash Carts stolen, etc.
well, they know where all the doughnut operators will be...
Hehehe
LESS THAN ONE mm...
As a result of the disqualification, IMSA has confirmed that the number 25 BMW RLL Team of Connor De Phillippi and Nick Yelloly have won the GTP Class of the 2023 Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen. The new result reverses a race, which saw Mathieu Jaminet pass De Phillipi for the GTP Class win with under 5 minutes to go in the race.
Below is an updated list of winners for the 2023 Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen:

Ryan Reynolds—Yes, That One—Invests Millions in Alpine F1 Team
The Hollywood star is already the co-owner of a popular Welsh soccer team and other sports franchises.
BY NICO DEMATTIA|PUBLISHED JUN 26, 2023 10:27 AM EDT
The Alpine brand has gone from the grave to making headlines worldwide in just two years, something that brand executives are extremely proud of. The Alpine Formula 1 Team, however, has enjoyed some success but not as much as its parent company Renault had wished. Now, a $ 218 million cash investment from a group of investors is giving the French team a better chance at fighting the likes of Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari. One of the investors involved is Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds.
"Only two years ago, Alpine was in a dead-end, lacking clear perspectives. Since then, we have turned it into a fully-fledged car manufacturer, bringing together outstanding assets: a top-class engineering center, a unique manufacturing know-how, expanding distribution network," said Luca de Meo, Renault Group CEO in a press release. "On top of it, Alpine’s entry into F1 prepares it to reach new heights, offering the brand the prestige and recognition attached to the pinnacle of motorsport."
Reynolds is no stranger to investing in sports franchises, as the actor is currently the co-owner of the Wrexham soccer team in the UK. Under Reynolds' ownership, the team has enjoyed a complete turnaround that led to the club joining the English Football League after a 15-year absence. The various firms involved in the investment—Otro Capital, RedBird Capital Partners, and Maximum Effort Investments—now own a 24% stake in the F1 team and currently hold investments in the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, French soccer team Toulouse FC, as well as the aforementioned Wrexham AFC.
The news of the Hollywood star breaking into the world of F1 crossed paths with Alpine's Monday-morning announcement that it will be launching in the U.S. in 2027. The French brand has proven it knows how to make sports cars to compete with the best in the business. The A110 is so that good Gordon Murray used it as the ride and handling benchmark for his $3.5 million GMA T.50 hypercar. And while it's unclear which Alpine cars will arrive in the U.S. in 2027, it's certainly good news for enthusiasts of mildly-obscure European sports cars.
Start with a bigger one...... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 old racing joke.....
saw that, WTAF... tooo funny
yup, good on him
hope he leaves the hollytrash out west
They'll be in the Mercedes garage...
I was watching the Race and they kept talking about how Race Control was monitoring tyre pressures to make sure that All were at or above minimum inflation levels.
Also about the KW Output from the Generator Units.
What else are they watching ? Driver's bladder fill level ? Gas levels in the Driver's lower intestine ? Do they have any Bunion Pads on any toes ?
WAIT, OMG !!! They've put Pedialyte in the Drink bottle and now they have an extra advantage because the Driver is hopped up on a Child Hydration DRUG...
Kinda did that in the movie “Italian Job” where they found the correct truck with the gold in it by focusing in on the tire pressure of one of the three trucks.
hangin wi their homley in da hood...
If I was rich I’d buy into a race team. Sounds like a lot of fun and he is certainly capable of the PR angle.
Wow!
