Please pray for my family. We got very bad news today. We found out today that my 69 year old mother is in very serious condition. She had to have a mastectomy 2 years ago because of breast cancer. We were told that it was in her lymph nodes and she went through all of the recommended chemo and radiation. Everything looked good as far as the cancer was concerned. She seemed to be doing well. Last year on election day she had a mild stroke. Apparently, the chemo had damaged her heart which resulted in a stroke. She has been in a very weak condition ever since, but, we all thought that it was due to her heart problem. Well, for the last couple of months she has been complaining of digestive problems and abdominal pain. She had a colonoscopy and endoscopy which looked good, so we were relieved about that. Today I took her to the emergency room and it looks like the cancer has spread extensively to her liver and vertebrae and maybe other places as well. I haven't told her what the emergency room doctor told me yet, I am going to wait until the doctor comes in to see her in the morning and see what he says. I don't know how to tell her the cancer is back. I'm afraid that she will just totally give up and I don't know what to do. My husband got laid off from his job today too.

Thank you. I don’t know how this will affect my job. My daughter is a sub and will probably have to do a lot of driving for me this next year. I guess that you could keep an eye out for some masonry work for my husband. He has a small job that will get us through for little while.

If God chooses to take your Mother home soon, she will be at peace. You can find comfort in that. She WILL live forever in Him and in your heart.
I also pray that Mr. Nellie finds a better job soon!
